In Customer Success, truly “logging off” can feel impossible—customers have needs 24/7, and there’s always something that could use our attention.


But taking a real break is essential to avoid burnout and come back refreshed.

One way to make that happen?


A quick end-of-week check-in to tie up loose ends and set yourself up for success on Monday (or Sunday in many cases):

  1. Any urgent customer requests still open?

  2. Any follow-ups you can schedule for Monday?

  3. A quick note of key takeaways from the week?

  4. Any at-risk accounts that need attention next week?

  5. A “thank you” or quick win you can share with a customer?

  6. One small process improvement you can implement?


A little preparation now = a smoother start of the week. Your future self (and your customers) will thank you!
